Mechanical Engineering degree with a Post-Graduation in Operations Management. Has a PhD in Digital Service Quality Management & has four international publications to his credit. Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt (CSSMBB) from Indian Statistical Institute, Lean Master / Re-engineering Customer Care Engineer from Renault Institute of Quality Management & Cegos, UK and a certified Chartered Quality Professional (CQP).

He has over 20,000+ Hrs. of training for more than 5000 leaders, professionals and students across various world class companies, institutions and through many public programs. Mentored more than 300 projects including Lean and Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt projects with a financial impact of over USD 50 million whilst achieving quantum leaps in Digitalisation, Innovation and Customer Experience. Research interests include Process Excellence, Service Excellence and Experimental Psychology.
In his earlier assignments in various multi-national corporations like Alstom, Hewlett Packard and Standard Chartered, Dr. Kalyan deployed strategic change management programs such as Lean, Six Sigma and Innovation for business transformation with a focus on analytics and customer-centricity. Currently, as the Founder and Director of KALVI World, he leads a team of talented experts to support large multi-national corporations in their Transformation journey.
